Economy Hotel Room
The largest share among the hotel rooms of the world is occupied by economy class rooms. Despite the established standards, there is a significant difference between the different rooms of economy class.
What to expect in an economy class room
As mentioned above, the economy class is not the same everywhere. However, as the most common version of a room, it should always be something that contains a level of comfort sufficient for most. In other words, no one cancels the cleanliness, order, working appliances and furniture in the economy room. Also, no one cancels regular cleaning, a separate bathroom and air conditioning. What you should not count on is excesses, for example, a jacuzzi or a pool in the room. In general, having ordered an economy class room, you can count on an acceptable level of comfort and service from the point of view of the majority.
What is the difference between rooms in different economy class hotels?
If we talk about the differences, then, of course, it should be noted that in different states we can see a huge gap between the rooms in the hotel of the same class. This is due to the expectations and capabilities of most guests. In those countries where only a bed is enough for guests and they don’t want anything else and cannot afford it, an economy class room will most likely be a very small room with one bed. If the demands for comfort and opportunities of the majority of the population are high, then a Jacuzzi in an economy class room will not be uncommon.
In Russia, in particular in Moscow, economy class rooms have an average level of comfort comparable to most developed countries of the world. At the same time, hotels compete with each other and try to differ at least in the details, which undoubtedly is very pleasant for guests. Somewhere you will be very attentive, polite and make a small gift. Somewhere, such as, for example, in mini-hotels “Russian Apartments”, in addition to impeccable service, you will be offered such pleasant things as proximity to the metro, proximity to historical monuments, low prices for accommodation.
